A fox tail stole used by Gypsy Rose Lee in many burlesque stage performances, while performing "Put the Blame on Mame" in Screaming Mimi (Sage, 1958) and on a 1964 appearance on Burke’s Law (Barbety, 1963-1966). The stole has been attributed as being designed by Mr. John, who designed many hats and accessories for Lee, and has been dyed yellow and comprises velvet flowers and approximately 34 fox tails and a velvet band.
