A group of four letters and notes from Axl Rose to his ex-wife, Erin Everly. The first is a letter written on the back of three envelopes. The first envelope, dated November 8, 1986, has been ripped apart and taped back together. The letter reads in part, "...I love you 0 Now 'm scared and I've become bitter to keep myself going. I hope that you'll be ok..I know this was some birthday present...I'll miss you, I wasn't looking for someone to take your place...sorry I hurt you. Love -Axl-" The second letter, written on a sheet of white paper, reads in part, "I just can't bear this life..The name William proves too much to bear." Rose signs the letter "Think of me when you wipe yo ass." The third item is a gift enclosure card. The envelope reads "From - An Asshole!!!" The enclosure is pre-printed with the words "With Sympathy," and Rose has written "I Mean it!!!! - Happy Birthday -." The fourth item is a note written on the back of a Luxury Line Rent A Car envelope that reads in full, "Erin, Axl wished these to be returned to you and requested that you not call him."
