$19,200
A Tompkins and Bush custom right-hand glove created for Michael Jackson. The back of the glove is covered in clear Swarovski loch rosen crystals. The palm of the white spandex glove is bare of ornamentation and closes with a single snap at the wrist. Jackson gifted the glove to photographer Jonathan Exley. Michael Bush recounted the following history of the glove: Jackson and Exley were at Exley's home reviewing photographs from Jackson's and Lisa Marie Presley's TV Guide cover photoshoot. Jackson called Bush, who lived nearby, and asked Bush to bring a glove to give to Exley. Bush replied that he had only rehearsal gloves. Jackson thought that was fine; he just wanted to give Exley a glove. Bush brought a glove believed to be used for rehearsals at the end of the Bad Tour or beginning of the Dangerous Tour while performing "Billie Jean."
