A blue military "Memo Routing Slip" signed on verso in blue ink "Elvis Presley. " The autograph was obtained by a U.S. Army major in 1959 when Presley was stationed in Germany with the 32nd Armored Division from 1958 to 1960. Presley was requesting a leave of absence pass, and the major agreed to grant Presley his pass if he would sign an additional pass and slip of paper for the major to take home for his family. This autograph is consigned by the wife of the major, who has kept it in her possession since her husband's return from service. This autograph can be dated due to its association with the military pass that was granted in March 1959. These items were featured on season 17 of Antiques Roadshow , where they were appraised for the consignor. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/roadshow/archive/201203A39.html 4 by 5 1/4 inches Categories: Elvis Presley
