A Simpson fire suit worn by Dale Earnhardt Jr. for promotional appearances at the 1998 NASCAR Thunder Special Motegi 500, at the Twin Ring Motegi, in Motegi Japan. This is the first race that Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earhardt Jr. raced on the same team. Dale Jr. finished 6th, besting his father Dale Sr. who finished 8th. In addition, it was the first ever NASCAR oval race held in Japan. With main sponsor “Coca-Cola” logo embroidered on the front of the suit, and throughout, as well as many logos and patches from secondary sponsors. “Dale Earnhardt Jr.” is embroidered in white stitching on the front of the suit.
