A group of five pages with Madonna’s handwritten commentary captions to accompany photographs in a fan publication. The pages are bound with a staple in the upper left corner. The first page is titled “M’s Fashion Captions + Commentary.” Each sheet contains one or two photocopied images of Madonna at events relating to her film Evita (Buena Vista, 1996). Under some of the images Madonna has written captions that appeared in the magazine icon : quarterly publication of The Official Madonna Fan Club . Under some of the images Madonna has asked the publishers to choose a different photograph with remarks like “Yuk” and “replace this picture/ don’t like this shot.” The comments are written in black and red ink. Accompanied by the original transmittal envelope sent to the fan club from The DeMann Entertainment Company. Postmark has been removed.
