Madonna wears this ring throughout the music video. The “Material Girl” music video was inspired by Madonna’s admiration of Marilyn Monroe and she mimicked Monroe’s performance of the song “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend.” The video has the story line of a man who impresses Madonna with daisies rather than diamonds.
