A B. B. King signed Gibson Lucille electric guitar. According to the consignor, the guitar was brought to King on his tour bus, where the famed blues musician tuned and briefly played it before signing the body of the guitar in white ink. The 2001 ARLC model in ebony finish is an ES-335 style guitar with no f-holes, maple neck, 22-fret fingerboard with pearl block inlays, double cutaway, and faux tortoise pickguard with sticker that reads in part “Factory adjusted for B.B. King Signature Strings…Sound Brought to You By 490R/490T Humbucker Pickups,” serial number 02481664. The headstock has a pearl Gibson logo inlay and “Lucille” pearl vertical inlay, and the gold tone truss rod cover is engraved “B.B. King.” Accompanied by a brown Gibson case with pink lining.
