A tie tack designed as a circular disc measuring 16 mm. , topped with one full-cut round star-set diamond gauged at approximately 0.12ct., and graded J-K color and VS clarity, featuring a cutout of the letters "VP." Weight, 2.2 grams. Vernon Presley wore this during the 1970s for various press conferences and interviews that he attended with his son, Elvis Presley. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity dated November 10, 1982, from the estate of Vernon Presley; a copy of a July 9, 1979, appraisal from Memphis jeweler Harry Levitch for the estate of Vernon Presley; and a letter from the estate of Sid Doan, former owner of Sierra Sid’s Casino in Sparks, Nevada.
