An 18K gold pair of pens with "Vernon" engraved on each clip and "Elvis and Linda" on one and "Christmas 1973" on the other. Both pens, one fountain and one ballpoint, are signed by Sheaffer. Total weight, 61 grams. Housed in a Memphis jeweler Geo T. Brodnax wooden box, with a gold tone plaque that reads "The Masterpiece/ 18K Gold/ By Sheaffer." Accompanied by a letter dated November 10, 1982, from the estate of Vernon Presley; a copy of a July 9, 1979, appraisal from Memphis jeweler Harry Levitch for the estate of Vernon Presley; and a letter from the estate of Sid Doan, former owner of Sierra Sid’s Casino in Sparks, Nevada.
