A Bible gifted by Priscilla and Elvis Presley to Judy (Jordan) and Sonny West as a wedding gift. The Bible is inscribed on the endpaper by Priscilla Presley: “Judy and Sonny, I hope all your days will be as happy as this day, and may God Bless you with all your wishes as two Special people deserve. Love Cilla (‘Beau') and Elvis.” The title page has also been filled in by Priscilla and reads “This Bible was presented to Mr. and Mrs. Sonny West by Priscilla and Elvis Presley on this 28th day of Dec. 1970.” The Bible, published by C.R. Gibson Company, is bound in white and stamped “Holy Bible” on the cover in “gold” lettering. Additional information has been filled in by the Wests about their wedding service, children, and deaths in their family. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Sonny West, who explains that at his wedding Elvis Presley was his Best Man and Priscilla Presley was the Matron of Honor.
