Presley gave the book to Sheila Ryan Caan and inscribed it to her on the endpaper, “To Sheila Darling/ I know you will/ Love this book/ Love you sweet heart/ E.P.” with an additional inscription, “To Sheila/ Love you/ E.P.” Additional notations and underline emphasis made by Presley also appear within the book.
