A WWII era U. S. Army Air Corps uniform worn by Ben Affleck as Capt. Rafe McCawley in the Jerry Bruckheimer production Pearl Harbor (Touchstone, 2001). The outfit consists of a khaki long-sleeve shirt with screen worn insignia and a pair of khaki pants. The garments were custom made for the production and the shirt has internal label for Hollywood shirt makers Anto of Beverly Hills with the initials “B.A.” and and the production date “March, 2000.” The pants have been aged down with black grease for the production and include an interal costume housr label with “Ben Affleck” and “Pearl Harbor” typed and “’Rafe’ # 2 V. Aged.” The shirt was worn in numerous scenes throughout the film. The pants were worn in the bombing of Pearl Harbor sequence. Together with a black tie that may or may not have been used in the production. Costume design by Mitzi Haralson and Michael Kaplan.
