A WWII military overcoat worn by Nancy Olson as “Lt. Eleanor MacKay,” in the motion picture Force Of Arms (Warner Bros., 1951). The double-breasted beige cotton coat has vertical pockets at the waist and buttons down the front and at the cuffs. The interior of the garment has a Warner Brothers label with the actress' name “Nancy Olson” and production date “3-26-51” inscribed in black ink. Olson wore or carried this garment in numerous scenes throughout the film, notably in scenes where Sgt. Joe "Pete" Peterson (played by William Holden) is thought to be dead, and Ellie searches everywhere for him without success. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity and a copy of the film.
