A prop scorpion knife and property master working cast signed script from the made-for-television film 12 Angry Men (MGM Television, 1997) starring Jack Lemmon, George C. Scott, and James Gandolfini. The film is a remake of the 1957 production staring Harry Fonda, Lee J. Cobb and Martin Balsam. The custom-made “Hero” prop knife has a white handle with a black scorpion design and an imitation metal retractable blade with simulated blood. This prop knife was specifically used for beauty shots and can be seen in the deliberation room directly after Juror #4 (Mueller-Stahl) stabs the blade into the table. Included in the sale is a 12 Angry Men property master's shooting script dated 3/18/96 with the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer trademark logo on the cover and signed by Edward James Olmos, William Friedkin (director), James Gandolfini, Tony Danza, Armin Mueller-Stahl, William Petersen, Ossie Davis, George C. Scott, Jack Lemmon, and Mykelti Williamson. 12 Angry Men revolves around a group of jurors and their difficulty in reaching a unanimous verdict in the murder trial of a teen boy accused of killing his father.
