A pair of brown wool tweed pants worn by Brad Pitt as Tristan Ludlow in the film Legends of the Fall (TriStar, 1994). The dress pant with button fly was custom made for Pitt by Western Costume. An internal Western Costume Company label typed “Brad Pitt number 22461-2” is present and "Double #75" is inscribed in white marker. Pitt wears the pants at the family dinner and in the piano scene, when his brother Samuel, portrayed by Henry Thomas, comes home from Harvard with his beautiful and mesmerizing fiancée, Susannah, portrayed by Julia Ormond. She is captivated by Tristan but is in love with Samuel, who is eager to join the Army and aid the British against the Germans during World War I. The pants are part of a three-piece suit and are visible while Tristan is sitting at the dinner table. Costume design by Deborah Lynn Scott.
