Two-page feature on the Rolling Stones in the Record Mirror, dated February 29, 1964, signed by Bill Wyman, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones (twice) and Charlie Watts. The Record Mirror, founded in 1953, was a weekly Pop magazine based in London. 1964 was a milestone year for the Rolling Stones. They toured for the first and second time in the US. The band appeared on American television during both tours. First on Dean Martin's variety show where they were mocked by their host and then on the Ed Sullivan show after which Sullivan threatened to never book the band again. Sullivan relented and the Stones appeared on his show many times. 18 by 24 3/4 inches, framed PROVENANCE Lot 123, Rock 'n' Roll Memorabilia, Sotheby's, London, Sale number LO9421, September 14 & 15, 1999.
