Script from the original Broadway production of “The Sound of Music” contained in brown cover, stamped in gold “The Sound of Music,” accompanied by a letter addressed to Mrs. Andrews written on the stationery of Richard Halliday, the production’s co-producer, dated January 27, 1960. This letter may have been written to Dame Julie Andrews who went on to star in the film adaptation of the play. The Broadway production starred Halliday’s wife, Mary Martin, as Maria. Categories:
