Epiphone Casino Guitar. Whether it's a huge mural, whimsical painted furniture, glass mosaiced furniture and sculptures, or a sculptured door, Janie Casoria wants to make you smile with her artwork. As a self taught artist who works in a variety of mediums, she feels blessed to have found her artful voice so late in life. What gives her the greatest pleasure is the road her art has lead her. Janie has been able to give so much back to the community and charities with her art. Whether it's a donated piece for fundraising, or a painted mural for an organization or hospital, or teaching students to express themselves with their art, or the fun of sharing ideas on numerous television segments and shows, what she gets back is priceless. As with all of my "Door Art" sculptures, I want them to remind us to see beyond the blocked barriers in our lives - reach out and open the door to your imagination and find the Spirit and Soul in everything, for everything has one. We need to keep all the arts alive in our schools. I do so much volunteer work with students and schools, and I am so proud of today's youth, they want and need to be creative. I wanted my whimsical guitar to speak to the importance of keeping the arts alive for future generations. What do we have in life if we don't have something wonderful to escape to?
