Eleven original vintage color photographs taken on the set of "The Misfits" (United Artists, 1961). The images show Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable, Arthur Miller, and Thelma Ritter. The photographs are attached to the front and back end papers of the book Norma Jean by Fred Lawrence Guiles. Much has been written about the tumultuous production of the film and its legacy as the final film for both Monroe and Gable. Monroe and Miller divorced shortly after production was complete.
