Bomber. 1944/ From some of the boys in New Guinea.” Box contains personal photos (36 original vintage photographs), slides (more than 25), Valentines, telegrams, cards, and gift enclosures primarily from Bill O’Connor, former Assistant Attorney General for the State of California. Also present are letters tied in a ribbon from oilman Grover Collins, two rosaries, and a Reese Milner matchbook. This highly personal collection is a glimpse into the love life and love-loss of Miller. There is a written response to Bill O’Connor’s death in 1959.
