Smith & Wesson model 37 Airweight, # J376169, . 38 Special caliber, blued finish and checkered medallion grips. Revolver is in excellent condition overall, with slight finish wear at the muzzle and light surface rust on the hammer and trigger. Bore has light rust that should clean. The grips have slight surface wear, and the right grip panel is stained on the bottom leading edge, approximately 1/2" by 1/2", and is possibly ink. As a gun collector, Elvis simply enjoyed guns and felt that all of his men should have one. He achieved this by having all of the Memphis Mafia deputized. A copy of “Dr. Nick’s™ Memories of Elvis” DVD accompanies this lot. In it, Dr. Nick discusses this item and the other items owned by him in this sale.
