Gibson Guitar Sclupture, 10 foot tall, fiberglass. David Alan Sincavage is a native Floridian, born in Miami in 1964. He traces his artistic talent back to his early childhood, but it was a 4 year stay in Greece that convinced him to pursue his talents as an artist. David has been working in the visual arts for over 30 years. His contemporary interpretations of personal and social issues is a style often described as whimsical, engaging, and provocative. His approach to each piece is as unique as the image itself. He and his wife, Catherine, are the proud owners of Palm Gallery in West Palm Beach, FL. David signs his works D'Alan. Some of my fondest memories as a child growing up in Miami are the times fishing off the pier behind the Miami Herald, on the catwalk under the Card Sound Bridge, and on the fishing boats along the Intercoastal Waterways. I also remember the many field trips taken to the Miami Seaquarium and after school going home to watch "Flipper", "Gilligan's Island", and "Skipper Chuck", my childhood hero. I used the them of our local waters to capture the color and movement of fish. Categories: Gibson Guitar
