A pair of white acetate satin boxing trunks worn by Evander Holyfield during his fight against Francois Botha on April 10, 2010 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Stitched into the waistband in purple lettering with red borders is the word "WARRIOR" with "HOLYFIELD" being stitched into the back of the waistband. Purple striping with red borders line both legs of the trunks. The left leg of the trunks features main sponsor "MAX GXL" logo, with the right leg featuring in red lettering "Phil. 4:13" which refers to one of Holyfield's favorite bible versus. Philippians 4:13 states "I can do all this through him who gives me strength." The bottom of each leg feature Holyfield Warrior logo patches. The back right leg of the trunks is signed "Holyfield/ 2 Cor 5:7" in black marker. Referencing another of Holyfield's favorite bible verses, 2nd Corinthians 5:7 states "for we walk by faith, not by sight." Holyfield defeated Botha by technical knockout in the eighth of the scheduled 12 rounds of the fight. In defeating Botha, Holyfield won the WBF Heavyweight title, winning a share of the Heavyweight Championship and thus becoming the only five-time Heavyweight Champion in boxing history.
