Discoloring consistent with age. All covers show some chipping. Written by eminent Japanese authorities and scholars, this set was produced during 1897 and 1898 a length with a ten volume cloth bound set. This set contains 260 illustrations, including 30 albumen hand colored and 15 color collotypes by K. Ogawa. While it contains the same text and photographs found in the standard ten volume set, it includes five additional Ogawa color collotypes of flowers not found in the cloth bound set. 16 inches height by 12 inches width.
