Golden Age of Hollywood stars & featured contract players of Warner Bros. , presented in 1945 as a special VIP gift to Madame Benes, wife and the First Lady of the then-President of Czechoslovakia, Edvard Benes during an honored VIP trip to America as visiting foreign dignitaries. The album itself is personally inscribed to Madame Benes on the inside, giving the date it was presented to her. There are 41 photos in all - one, each, for 39 of the actors, plus 2 different photos for the same actress - Alexis Smith. Many have identifying info on the back as to the films the shots came from and/or designers of particular gowns worn by the actresses.
