The Bob Hope Chrysler Classic is a unique PGA event, a pro-am played on five days on five courses every January in California. Founded in 1960 as the Palm Springs Classic, first tournament was won by good friend Arnold Palmer with a final score of 338, or 22 under par. The record would stand for the next twenty years.
