Original, vintage blueprint titled “Fantasy Land Castle Causeway” that details the bridge leading to Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle and Fantasyland beyond. Labeled “Disneyland Inc.,” this blueprint was executed by “WED Enterprises, Inc.” The key notes the date as “2-5-55,” while a supplemental and handwritten facsimile note to the left of the key states “Preliminary information only 2/5/55.” The causeway layout also includes the castle’s functioning drawbridge that has been raised and lowered only twice in its history: once on Disneyland’s opening day, July 17, 1955, and again at the debut of New Fantasyland on May 25, 1983.
