A handwritten letter from Bobby Darin to George Burns on Darin's personal stationery, dated "Sept 28. " The letter requests that Burns let Danny Kaye know that his opening show was "the greatest show of television in the last 10 yrs [sic]," and also requests that Burns introduce Wayne Newton at the opening night at the Cressando on November 7th. Attached to the letter is Burns' typed and unsigned reply, dated October 7, 1963, stating that Darin's comment about Danny Kaye was "an insult, because I had one with you three years ago," and that he is busy working on the "Wendy and Me" pilot, so Newton will have to get "Bob Hope who has nothing to do."
