A pair of letters signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt and First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. The Franklin Roosevelt letter is typed on White House stationery and dated September 26, 1939, written to Daniel Bloomfield, director of the Boston Conference on Distribution. The Eleanor Roosevelt letter is also typed on White House stationery, dated August 31, 1939, written to a Mr. Jonson.
