A background gorilla costume from Beneath the Planet of the Apes (20th Century, 1970). The costume consists of dark purple naugahyde vest with black stripes, a purple cotton long-sleeve jacket with matching pants, and a pair of cotton gloves with added naugahyde gauntlets that match the vest. The vest has a Velcro closure, the size "44" written in the collar, and a Western Costume label with the typed number "2431-1" attached. The shirt has a 44 size tag in its collar, and the pants have "WCC #33" inscribed in white marker.
