A cognac silk faille and brown velvet period costume worn by Alice Faye in In Old Chicago ( 20th Century, 1937). The costume is comprised of two pieces: the first is a long velvet Victorian overdress with faille sleeves and bow in the back; the second is a gathered and trained faille skirt. Together with a bag containing replacement buttons and lace. Costume design by Royer. Outer dress has MGM cleaning tag and is stamped "S. Goldwyn," bias label in skirt "983-3 Alice Faye" with stamps that say "36" and "28." Accompanied by a copy of the film. Categories:
