A pale green silk shantung turn-of-the-century gown worn by Dorothy McGuire in The Remarkable Mr . Pennypacker (20th Century, 1959). The gown has a fitted bodice, full skirt, and mutton sleeves. There are details of soutache overlay throughout, a ruffle collar and cuffs, a satin sash, and accordion pleating down length of skirt. Costume design by Charles Le Maire and Mary Wills. No labels.
