Growing up the youngest of nine children in Georgia afforded Evander Holyfield the means by which to become a World Champion boxer but not much else. After winning a bronze medal in the 1984 Olympics, he was interviewed on television, the host asking, “if you could have any car what would it be?” The answer was a 1962 Corvette. Before too long, an adoring fan granted him this wish by gifting him this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette. The year is significant as it is the year Evander was born but also because it is the last production year of this body style. Corvette has long been the standard by which all other American muscle cars are judge due to innovate styling, quick handling and generous horsepower under the hood. This Corvette has been “restomodded” with a late model Chevrolet 5.7 liter LS1 engine with 350 horsepower and fuel injection while still sporting a floor shift 4-speed manual transmission. She has both her soft and hard tops, wire wheels with knock-off center cap and standard features included dual exhaust, tachometer, seatbelts, heater/defroster, electric clock, windshield washer and review/outside mirrors. She has also been fitted with a custom Alpine stereo system. Title in transit. The rear driver side tire has been replaced with a black tire. Categories: Evander Holyfield
