An International Boxing Federation (IBF) Cruiserweight World Champion belt, won by Evander Holyfield when he defeated Ricky Parkey on May 15, 1987 at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The red faux leather belt is adorned with a large brass sculpture in the center, lined with faux diamonds surrounding the badge that reads “INTERNATIONAL BOXING FDERATION” and "WORLD CHAMPION." The sculpture features an eagle above the badge with two boxing gloves on either side. The badge is flanked by two smaller brass sculpted pieces containing two brass engraved plates. Both plates are engraved "May 15, 1987/ Las Vegas, NV./ Cesars Palace/ Holyfield vs. Parkey/ IBF Cruiserweight Championship/ 3rd Round K.O./ St. LUKE 1:49." The inside of the belt is lined with velvet, and attaches at the back with a brass buckle. In beating Parkey, Holyfield won his second title in the Cruiserweight class, a crucial step on his way to becoming the Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion. Categories: Evander Holyfield
