A white acetate satin boxing robe with cotton terry cloth lining worn by Evander Holyfield for his Cruiserweight title fight against Carlos De Leon on April 9, 1988 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The robe features black striping on the lapels, breast pocket and cuffs. On the back of the robe in black embroidered lettering appears "Evander/ "Real Deal"/ Holyfield." The robe also features a zippered hood. Holyfield would defeat De Leon by technical knockout and the 1:08 mark in the 8th round of the scheduled 12 round bout. In the process Holyfield retained his WBA and IBF Cruiserweight titles and won the WBC Cruiserweight title, which De Leon was the holder of. By winning this fight, Holyfield became the first boxer to ever unify the Cruiserweight class. It would be Holyfield's last Cruiserweight fight as after the bout he moved up to the Heavyweight division. There is no belt present with the robe. Size 42. Categories: Evander Holyfield
