A World Boxing Council (WBC) Cruiserweight World Champion belt, won by Evander Holyfield when he defeated Carlos De Leon on April 9, 1988 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The green faux leather belt features a center brass plate that includes enamel flags of all of the WBC member nations. The center plate also depicts a boxer with his and raised in victory under the arched words "WORLD CHAMPION," and over the letters "WBC." Affixed on either side of the center plate are two brass badges depicting former Heavyweight Champions Joe Louis and Muhammad Ali. Printed on the back center of the belt is "Certified WBC World Champion." The belt also features a brass buckle closure. In winning this WBC belt along with the WBA and IBF Cruiserweight belts earlier in his career, Holyfield became the only undefeated and undisputed Cruiserweight Champion in boxing history.
