A World Boxing Association (WBA) commemorative belt presented to Evander Holyfield on the occasion of the WBA renaming their championship belts awarded to boxers in the Cruiserweight class the "Evander Holyfield Belt. " After defeating Ricky Parkey in 1987, Holyfield became the first, and still only, boxer to become the undefeated and undisputed Cruiserweight Champion. In recognition of this achievement, the WBA renamed their Cruiserweight Championship belts. The belt features purple, white and red acetate satin underneath three brass sculptures. The center sculpture features an eagle over two boxing gloves with center badge reading "EVANDER HOLYFIELD BELT/ WORLD BOXING ACCOCIATION/ WBA 1921." The center sculpture features a ring of faux diamonds. On either side of the center sculpture are two smaller circular sculptures with the first housing a color image of Holyfield and the second containing an engraved mirrored brass plaque that reads "PRESENTED TO/ CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONS/ IN HONOR OF/ EVANDER HOLYFIELD/ PRESENTED BY THE/ WORLD BOXING ASSOCIATION."
