A customized light blue molded fiberglass chair used during various episodes of the “Star Trek” original television series (1966-1969) on sets of the U. S.S. Enterprise, featuring a modified black vinyl padded extended back and black metal helicopter base. This chair, as well as similar ones like it, was loaned by Desilu executive Herb Solow for the show’s pilot episode. Originally made by mid-century modern designer Saarinen for Texas based company Burke, model 115, these chairs were also used on television sets of the Mod Squad, the Avengers and the Brady Bunch. 41 inches height.
