A collection of items primarily related to John Hart’s portrayal as the Lone Ranger and Captain Africa. Present are a group of 20 black and white original snapshots of Hart on set of “The Lone Ranger,” 13 eight by ten inch production stills and studio portraits of Hart during various stages of his career, one signed and inscribed: “John Hart/Capt. Africa,” two Lone Ranger coloring books signed and inscribed in Hart’s hand: “John Hart/The Lone Ranger,” and a limited edition signed and inscribed John Hart poster featuring images of Hart throughout his career, inscription reading in full: “To Jim My Good Pal/Best Wishes/John Hart/The Lone Ranger,” an “Adventures of Captain Africa/Mighty Jungle Avenger/Chapter 2” lobby card, and two silver 45 caliber bullets Various sizes.
