An original five page employment contract between composer Harold Arlen and Transcona Enterprises dated December 11, 1952. The document is signed on the last page by Arlen and countersigned by Transcona Enterprises president. Arlen is best known for his compositions for "The Wizard of Oz," (MGM, 1939) particularly “Over the Rainbow” as well as classics “Only A Paper Moon,” “Stormy Weather,” and “I've Got the World on A String.” 8 ½ by 11 inches.
