An original concert poster promoting one of the final performances by the Beatles. The concert was performed at Ohio’s Cleveland Stadium on Sunday August 14, 1966, and included the Cyrcle, the Ronettes, and the Remains as opening acts. Over 20,000 fans were in attendance, which took place three days after Lennon commented that The Beatles were bigger than Jesus. Notable is the erroneous spelling of “other” (as othe) at the bottom of the poster which was later corrected. Printed by Jontzen in Cleveland, Ohio. The group played their last concert later that month on August 29th in San Francisco’s Candlestick Park. 19 by 22 inches. Categories: The Beatles
