Sheet music for "Masters of War" pulled from a songbook signed in black marker by Bob Dylan. First released on the 1963 album "Freewhellin' Bob Dylan" "Masters of War" was written when Dylan was 21 years old. By this time Dylan had established himself as both a singer and sognwriter. Under the influence of both Woody Gutherie and Ramblin' Jack Elliott his brand of folk music exhibited powerful political messages and the songs of this album were largely labelled "protest songs." George Harrison said of this album: "We just played it, just wore it out. The content of the song lyrics and just the attitude — it was incredibly original and wonderful."
