Black and white photograph of Miles Davis at the 1957 Newport Jazz Festival taken by Roy Schatt, stamped on verso, accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from the Schatt Estate. By 1957 Davis had found his "voice" as a soloist, kicked a heroin addiction, created legendary recordings and just disbanded the first incarnation of the Miles Davis Quintet. Davis was working with Gil Evans at this point created albums such as "Miles Ahead" and "Porgy and Bess." 11 by 14 inches Categories: Miles Davis
