Gibson Les Paul, heritage cherry sunburst finish, carved AA maple top, mahogany back and neck, rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, customized with Slash's preferred pickups, serial number 03523511, with painted signature created by Slash. Accompanied by framed photograph of Slash playing this guitar on stage, his guitar strap, guitar pick and framed concert t-shirt/ticket. On May 9, 2004 Velvet Relvover took to the stage at the Roxy on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, California. 60 tickets were made available to the general public, other guests were by invitation only. This show was supposed to be a warm-up for the bands 2004 tour. Those lucky enough to be inside were given a Velvet Revolver t-shirt with the show's date on the back as their ticket, t-shirt reads: "Live on the Sunset Strip Roxy Theatre May 9, 2004." This is often referred to as Velvet Revolver's First concert. It was not the first time they had played together but it was the first large show with the majority of the music played consisting of original Velvet Revolver songs. The set list was: Sucker Train Blues, Spectacle, Headspace, Superhuman, Crackerman, Mr. Brownstone, Fall to Pieces, Big Machine, Illegal I Song, Do it for the Kids, Set Me Free, Used to Love Her, Sex Type Thing, It's So Easy, Slither.
