Official Roger Staubach football signed and inscribed, “To Bob Hope – Thank you for being a friend. ” Hall of Famer quarterback Staubach most likely gave this football to Bob Hope in 1982, during a filming of “Bob Hope’s All Star Birthday Party In Annapolis.” In the early 60’s Staubach played quarterback at the Naval Academy before five year’s of military service including a tour in Vietnam.
