HERBERT HASELTINE, (1877-1962)

Percheron Horse, bronze with parcel gilding, 1943, signed with initials. Herbert Haseltine was born in Rome to the American Painter William Stanley Haseltine. He attended Harvard University and later studied painting and drawing in Munich, Rome, and at the Academie Julian in Paris.
