This handmade leather bound autograph book is identical in form to the previous lot, but was instead owned by a Mrs. Bertha Case. Mrs. Case evidently travelled with Pickford on more than one occasion, as many of the same signatures can be found in this volume from the same places and dates as those in Pickford's personal autograph book. The book contains approximately eighty signatures on forty pages. The signatures included: radiotelegraph inventor Guglielmo Marconi; Italian dictator Benito Mussolini Rome May 10, 1926; Grand Duke Alexander Mikailovich of Russia November, 1926; Prince William of Sweden Los Angeles November 16, 1927; actor Maurice Chevalier Paris 1926; aviator Amelia Earhart July 7, 1932; author H.G. Wells reading "Yours from now on" November 11, 1940; author and Nobel Laureate Pearl S. Buck. 10 by 7 1/2 inches Categories: Mary Pickford
