A one page itemized list dated September through November 1941 in Goddard’s (Marilyn’s legal guardian) hand in pencil, detailing expenses and living costs spent on Norma Jeane. Present are expenses for Norma Jeane’s allowance, clothing, and beauty supplies. During that period, an affable Van Nuys neighbor named Jim Dougherty began driving the 15 year old Norma Jeane to and from Van Nuys High School.
