Christy Kale was born in Big Spring, Texas and spent her youth in Texas, Iceland, Germany and the East Coast as part of a large military family. Her love of the Texas light and landscape is reflected in her colorful paintings of sky, water, flora and fauna. She also works in mosaic, photography and mixed media.
